Flyball -

Flyball is my favourite sport and  I go training each week with FourPaws Flyball Club.  I have just gained my FD (Flyball Dog) title for earning more than 200 points in tournaments.

So far in 2008 I have taken part in lots  BFA Flyball competitions with the FourPaws teams.  (see at the bottom of this page for links to my Youtube videos)

What is Flyball ?

Flyball is a Dog team  sport.  A team of four dogs, with up to two substitutes ( in a relay race)  jump over 4 jumps, gets a tennis  ball from a 'box' and run back again. Two teams compete against each other at the same time in the best of 5 races. This is usually in a league completion with teams of similar times and the team that wins the most races wins the league. Also individual teams try and better there own overall times.

I also took part in two starter flyball competitions in 2007. My team FourPaws on the Move came 3rd at the Shooting Stars starter competition in Sellindge in July 2007 and then we came 1st at  the Aces High starter competition at Capstone in September 2007.
